Information Collection and Use
Metropolitan Vintners is the sole owner of the information collected on our websites. However, you must create an account and sign a Partnership Agreement and Insertion Order in order to advertise your business on any website owned and/or operated by Metropolitan Vintners. Clients are required to provide their business name, marketing contact name, phone number, street address, email address, and a password. This information is necessary in order for us to contact users about services on our site for which they have expressed interest.

Metropolitan Vintners order forms request data from users including name, shipping/delivery address; and based on payment option selection this may also include financial information such as credit card number, expiration date, billing address, and billing phone number. This information is used for billing purposes to verify that the customer is of legal age, and to fill customers' orders. During the order process users will have an option to select a payment method including options such as Cash, Credit Card, Check and Paypal. For Cash payments and Credit Cards processed directly by the wine store or winery, users will not be requested to provide financial information to the website. The wine store or winery will contact the user directly to collect this information. When a user purchases wine or other products through the website using Paypal they are required to create a new Paypal account or use an existing account and they complete the purchase through Paypal. In this case Metropolitan Vintners will not request or collect any credit card information from the user. If we encounter difficulty when processing an order placed through our website our Customer Service department will use the customer’s account contact information to contact them directly. Any and all financial or personal information that we collect directly from clients and users is always collected on a secure webpage and the data is encrypted for our customers' protection.
